1 Corinthians 6:18-19 (Amplified Version)
"Shun immorality and all sexual looseness [flee from impurity in thought, word, or deed]. Any other sin which a man commits is one outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own"
I read somewhere about a 27 year old virgin lady who because she had never had a successful relationship and so, felt that perhaps she was too good to still be "unhitched", decided to lose her virginity by all means.
According to the story, she met a guy on a random dating/sex website and immediately decided to see him. She went to his house. There she met him and some friends who eventually gang-raped her.
My point?
It's not fashionable to want to lose your virginity before marriage. That "everyone is doing it" doesn't make it right. Avoid comparing your life with where others are in their lives. You don't know their personal issues in detail; and even if you did, your life is on a different path.
Embrace your unique womanhood with joy and contentment!
